Working in partnership with the governing body of Alderman Knight Special School, Gloucestershire County Council is proposing to make some alterations at the school to reflect the increasing demand for special school places for Gloucestershire children and to allow the school to cater for the year groups where there is the greatest level of demand for places.
It is proposed that from September 2020 the school be expanded to take up to 208 children and to alter the age range from 4-19 years to 7-19 years.
